The other night, I was exhausted. Ā I had had a busy day of playing with the kids, working and grocery shopping/prepping meals for the week.Ā Ā  I was ready to just hop in the tub & take a long, relaxing, hot bubble bath… Bath Time for Mom.Ā
I got the kids ready for bed. Ā We had dinner (check out my menu plan to see our weekly meals) and we gave the kids their bath. Ā  It was a quick one, because they were as tired as we were! Ā  Everyone was in the pajamas and into bed when it was my turn to take a bath… you know- that relaxing bath that I talked about…

Bathtime:Ā

Yep- that is real life. Ā This is what it looks like to get a bath. Ā  Ā We’ve got bath paint, bath toys, toys that don’t belong in the bath, shampoo, tea kettles (doesn’t everyone like to use those to rinse their hair?), superheros, puffs, cups, plastic eggs… Ā I’m pretty sure that you could find just about anything in our bathtub!

Yes, I was too exhausted to even take everything out, drain it, etc… but instead, I just ran my water right around the toys and hopped right in. Ā  Toys and all. Ā  Ā If you read my post from yesterday, about how four kids have made me carefree, this would be a good example. Ā  Why not just roll with the punches? Ā  Ā Kids rushed for bedtime? Ā  Skip taking the toys out. Ā Mom too tired to do it later? Ā  Just go with it. šŸ˜‰

Hope you liked this little sneak peek at real life… from one mom to another.

PS… the next day I woke up & did my 7 day declutter challenge.Ā  Ā I love getting rid of clutter!Ā
