This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of UPS for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Every year, my dear friend, deanna, throws a “Donate to others” party. Its not your ordinary Holiday party. No… this party is a way that she gathers gifts for the needy. She asks each child to bring a special toy, that they are ready to give to someone else.- someone that does not have special toys.

She invites 20+ kids to her house and they do a craft, eat some special treats, sing Karaoke songs with a microphone, watch a Veggie Tales (short) movie and just have fun. In the meantime, she has gathered 20+ toys to take to children in need.

When the party is over, she and I will go through the toys and find them new homes.   We leave them on their doorsteps with a note that says “Have a wonderful holiday.” or we will give it to the family, face to face, and watch the children’s faces light up! It is really an amazing opportunity and I love to be a part of it. I feel blessed to have a friend that cares about others so much. I even have some of the gifts shipped to families that I know are in need in other areas. It is sort of like having a wish delivered to your doorstep. Every package that ends up on a doorstep starts with a wish. Thankfully, UPSers work to deliver everyday wishes!

If you would like to help make a wish come true, now you can – For every wish submitted with the hashtag #WishesDelivered, UPS will donate $1 to one of their charity partners (Salvation Army, Boys & Girls Club, or Toys for Tots) up to $100K! Wishes can automatically be submitted to the #WishesDelivered site by simply posting the wish on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #WishesDelivered, or going direct to the #WishesDelivered site and submitting there. It’s encouraged to share your wishes on all social channels in addition to submitting on the #WishesDelivered site.
I submitted my own wish for thechildren at our local public school. They have a playground that is just not what I would want for them. Some of these kids come from homes that have no outdoor space and this is a great way for them to be in a safe, fun envirornment.

This is their current playgound:My #WishesDelivered is a new playground for these sweet children! What’s your wish?
