Our kids LOVE the HARRY POTTER movie and they love playing Harry Potter. In fact, we have costumes for the kids to dress up like the Harry Potter characters (He had his “Harry Potter look” down…from the smile all the way down to the shoes.)

When I first saw these film-inspired dolls for kids ages 6 & up and I knew that our kids would love them. It’s the perfect way to bring Harry Potter and his friends back to Hogwarts!

The Harry Potter Doll is so lifelike…

Our kids were taking turns between Harry Potter and Ron Weasley.   Ron actually looks just like his character (and, of course, a lot like his siblings, with that red hair).

Our kids have always been a fan of Harry Potter, and I’ve always been a fan of imaginative play in children, so these were perfect. I had to share them with you, especially with the holidays not far away. (I’m always trying to think of fun ideas that will spark creative play.)

When our kids saw them, the first thing that they noticed was Harry’s scar and the fact that his glass, robe & wand could be removed:

I also love that the characters have eleven “joints” — in the neck, shoulders, hips, knees, elbows, and wrists.  They certainly “Wingardium Leviosa!” if they couldn’t move their arms.

Our kids recreated so many scenes from the movie before moving onto their very own puppet show.

All of the dolls come with their own personalized wands and Hogwarts uniform. This is great being that The INTERNATIONAL STATUE OF SECRECY has their own guidelines on what Harty, Ron and all wizards should wear when they are around Muggles like us. ;). It’s a good thing the robe comes off because it would be a giveaway that they were wizards!
